1.By proceeding with any booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to our Booking Terms and Conditions.
2. BOOKINGS: We do not make provisional bookings, once a booking is confirmed, payment is due as detailed below. To make changes to a booking, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to meet your needs, please note charges may be incurred as detailed in the Booking T+C’s.
All bookings will receive email confirmation within 2 working days, this will include the Course Joining Instructions, if these could be passed along to the candidates. If not received, please contact us directly.
For online training (via Teams), the email address and contact number for each candidate must be sent to us along with the medical, D+A documentation and Sentinel profile. An Online Checklist will also be sent for the candidate with further information.
3. All companies must complete a New Client Registration Form, which must be returned to us before the initial booking is confirmed. This document will also include payment details for your reference.
4. INVOICING & PAYMENTS: Full payment is due within 30 days; invoices will be sent within 2 working days of the training event start date. If you wish for a PO number to be noted on the invoice, please send through to us at the time of booking, note we do not chase PO numbers and they cannot be added once the invoice has been created.
All payments are to be made via bank transfer; details can be found on the New Client Form.
We cannot accept card/cheque payments at this time.
Overdue and unpaid invoices will result in a block on future bookings, being enforced.
5. CANCELLATIONS:Cancellations for any reason will be charged as below:
•Within 10 working days - 100% of charges due
•More than 10 working days - £25 per candidate administration fee
•For specialist training events, 100% of the fee is due once the booking is confirmed
Cancellations include but are not limited to:
•No shows.
•Turned away from training due to invalid/no paperwork
•Removed due to unprofessional behaviour
•Cancellation by employing company
•No Primary Sponsor Confirmation
•Candidate not meeting requirements as per Translink guidelines
7. In the event that we must cancel a training event, or amend course timings, we will endeavour to notify our clients in good time. We will rebook said course at the first available opportunity. You will not receive any charges in this instance.
8. In the event that a course has been incorrectly advertised/booked, we will contact the affected companies as soon as possible to notify you of any issues/changes.
9.(All documents per candidate should be sent in a single email)
•IOH Medical and D+A - these must contain the candidates legal name (spellings the same on each document), DOB and address on both documents. Both must be signed and dated.
•Photo I.D (PTS Initial only)
•Up to date PTS Card (N/A for PTS Initial)
•Physical Photo I.D (PTS Initial only) or PTS card should be brought to each training event
Or:
•Sentinel Medical and D+A (blue background), in PDF Format only
•Sentinel profile in PDF Format only
•Passport Picture like selfie, JPEG Format only
All documents must be sent to us no later than 10 working days prior to the event date, this allows for documentation to be processed and any issues rectified – cancelations due to insufficient time to process will incur charges as detailed in our Booking T+C’s.
It is the Primary Sponsors responsibility to ensure that the Medical Reports are correct, that the candidate is fit for work and has undertaken any Risk Assessments deemed necessary, that the candidate has held the relevant competencies for the required length of time and undergone the required mentoring and assessments before booking further training. Details can be found in the latest Competency Management Framework - NIR Rule Book Competencies document, issued by Translink Infrastructure and Projects. (It is the sole responsibility of the Approved Supplier to ensure that their subcontractors are familiar with Competency Management Frame document and are adhering to it.) Where documents are sent to us with errors, they will be returned to the employing company to be rectified and an admin fee of £25 per candidate will be incurred.
10.AMC Training and Consultancy do not take liability for inaccuracies or omissions in course content or handouts.
11.Upon successful completion of Rule Book training, all candidate documentation will be forwarded on to the TTA at Translink for issuance of the updated PTS card, please contact them directly to arrange collection.
12.For all other training courses, certification will be emailed directly to the booking company within 5 working days.
13.When attending Training Events, Candidates must adhere to building rules and regulations including those under the Health and Safety Act 1974. Candidates will be required to Sign In and Out of the Training facility.
14. We recognise that there is a wide range of views on various matters of a political nature in Northern Ireland, we recognise and respect the rights of each candidate to hold and express those views. We also recognise that there will be a range of views on the wearing of clothing or symbols that could, in some people’s opinion, be seen as having political connotations in Northern Ireland. Due to this, we have therefore, respectively set the following guideline that candidates are asked to adhere to: Candidates should not wear any sportswear relating to any particular sports team (shirts, shorts, training tops, caps etc) when attending any training events.We appreciate your support in this matter.
15. Please note that Work Boots are not permitted in the training building.
